As Nurçin Ehlimanoğlu ("Deri Leather"), we use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage) on our website at derileather.com. In line with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and the Personal Data Protection Board's Guidelines on Cookie Practices, this policy explains which cookies we use, for what purposes and for how long, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved to your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to work, remember your preferences, measure visits and personalize ads.
- First-party cookies: Set by Deri Leather.
- Third-party cookies: Set by our partners, such as Google and Meta.
- Session cookies: Deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: Remain on your device until the set period expires or you delete them.

3. Legal Basis and Explicit Consent
- Strictly necessary cookies: Required to provide the site and the service you request. They are used without seeking your consent under KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) (establishment or performance of a contract) and Art. 5(2)(f) (legitimate interest). If you disable these cookies, some parts of the site (cart, checkout, sign-in) may not work.
- Functional, analytics and marketing cookies: Used only with your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1)). These cookies are not loaded unless you give your consent.
The panel shown on your first visit presents the options "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Manage preferences" equally. All categories are off by default; no pre-ticked boxes are used. Not giving consent does not prevent you from shopping.
4. Google Consent Mode
Our site uses Google Consent Mode (v2). Until you give consent, Google tags run in a "denied" state:
analytics_storage: Analytics cookies are enabled only when you consent to the analytics category.ad_storage,ad_user_data,ad_personalization: Advertising cookies, sending data for advertising purposes and personalized advertising are enabled only when you consent to the marketing category.
If you do not give consent, limited cookieless technical signals may be sent to Google; these signals do not store cookies in a way that identifies you. Meta Pixel is not loaded at all unless you consent to the marketing category.
5. Transfers Abroad
Data collected through analytics and marketing cookies may be transferred to Google and Meta, whose servers are located outside Türkiye. These transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK and begin only if you consent to the relevant cookie categories. For details, please see the KVKK Privacy Notice.
6. How to Change Your Preferences

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link at the bottom of the site. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

7. Your Rights

8. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the tools we use or in the legislation. If there is a material change in the cookies we use, we will ask for your consent again.
